The practice
DESIGN CODE LIMITED is an engineering practice registered in England and Wales. It was formed in 2011 as Daedal Consulting Limited and took its present name in March 2026. The work is structural, civil and mechanical engineering: design to code, analysis, forensic investigation, technical packages and survey.
Quality
Our quality management system is certified to ISO 9001:2015 by DNV, a certification body accredited by UKAS, for structural, civil and mechanical engineering design and analysis services. Certificate C654063.
How we hold what clients entrust to us
We do not name clients, show their assets or publish their data. The absence of names on this site is policy, not a gap, and a prospective client can expect its own work to be held the same way. In conversation we can describe what was done, to which code, by what method and with what outcome.
The name and the mark
Design to code is what we do, and the name says so. The mark is drawn from the geometry of the C in the CE conformity mark, mirrored and paired to form D and C. Where the two cross, they make an x: the unknown every calculation solves for. In binary, x is 01111000.
The mark is a monogram. It is not a CE marking and makes no claim of conformity.
